Hilton Head Island Half Marathon, Marathon, & 5K Race
Sign up for one of these races while you can still register online, and pre-register for a fun souvenir - a free long sleeve t-shirt. Each mile will be clearly marked for the marathon in a picturesque course. With water and sports drinks available every two miles, first aid stations, and other accommodations, registered racers will have plenty of support to reach the finish line.
The time limit for the full marathon is six hours, while the half marathon should be completed in four. This flexible timeframe can accommodate anyone with even moderate marathon training. Come out and wear your number so you can claim bragging rights later. You can also enjoy all the Island has to offer in decadent dining completely guilt-free! 
The races will start at picturesque Jarvis Creek Park, taking participants down Nature's Way and Pembroke Road before looping back. This is a winning way to see some scenic sites around Hilton Head Island while visiting from out of town. Lovely Jarvis Creek Park is located behind Walmart off of 278.
All the Hilton Head Island races will start on Saturday, February 8 at 8:00 a.m. For 12 years, the annual event has encompassed a half marathon and a 5k course of 3.1 miles. This year, the event is expanding to include the more challenging full marathon, a 26.2-mile course. The scenic certified course will be the perfect backdrop for runners at every pace to experience this coastal South Carolina town. Work your way through two parks and Broad Creek to complete the course. Winners will receive unique awards at the finish line.
