Hilton Head Island throws a blockbuster parade to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. In fact, the festivities have been recognized as one of the best tourist events in the Southeast - and for good reason! This local tradition first started back in 1981, and today the parade attracts more than 20,000 people. Join the party at the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 15th starting at 3 p.m. Spectators will line Pope Avenue as the colorful procession passes along the island streets.
