FAMILY FRESHWATER FISHING

There is no more classic a family activity than fishing. Wednesdays through Sundays all summer long, enjoy fishing for largemouth bass, crappie, bream and catfish on Hilton Head Island. Whether you’re a beginner and don’t know a reel from a rod, or a seasoned fisherman who is just looking for a day outside in beautiful South Carolina surroundings, our program is perfect. Expert instructors will take you to one of the beautiful lakes of the Sea Pines Forest Preserve, and all supplies are provided. This is a catch and release freshwater fishing program, so even if you don’t want to kill any fish, you can enjoy the benefits of a day on the lake!

Spend a few hours learning how to fish with your children, and practicing your own hands. While you’re there, be sure to watch for turtles, alligators, deer and lots of bird species as there will certainly be wildlife around. Soak in the beauty of the cedar trees covered in Spanish moss, and the oaks and palms. The surroundings are quintessentially South Carolinian, lush, green and gorgeous. If you want to go fishing, but you don’t want to leave your family members behind, don’t worry. There’s lots of shopping, biking, swimming, golfing and tennis playing for them to choose from while you’re away!
