One of Hilton Head Island’s marquee events rolls back into town.
Year after year, the Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival & Concours d’Elegance has gone from strength to strength, quickly becoming one of the island’s marquee events.
This year is no different, with a slate of outstanding automotive events celebrating the history of the American automobile with a style that’s all Hilton Head. Port Royal Golf Club will once again host this amazing event, which begins Nov. 5 with the Car Club Showcase, which this year pits vintage automobiles and classic American muscle cars with an Aero Expo spotlighting some high-flying planes of yesterday and today. The Hilton Head Island Car Auction will be held Nov. 5 as well, this year at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa.
The entire island will join in this celebration with special events like a screening of Disney Pixar’s Cars Saturday night at Shelter Cove Community Park and a Hurricane Matthew Benefit that night at Port Royal Golf Club.
It all culminates Nov. with the Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance, where some of the most stylish classic cars will be recognized for their elegance and flair.
